HOW IT WORKS
The face is constantly active. There are several muscles underneath the skin whose movements determine its general aspect and facial expressions. These facial muscles are also responsible for the wrinkles, fine or prominent, that appear on the epidermis.
The muscles of the central and upper part of the face are the “bad” muscles that close up the face, cause wrinkles to appear and can even lead to headaches. Tiredness, stress and arguing make their impact even more pronounced. Safetox works by inhibiting these “bad” muscles.
The posterior muscles are the “good” muscles and their movements open up the face and give an active facelift effect.

A Safetox Beauty session lasts 5 minutes and once started the treatment is timed and will finish automatically.
The easiest regimen comprises one session every day for 3 weeks followed by 2 sessions per week to maintain the effects.
INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE
In practical terms, a session consists of 5 stages:
Stage 1: Cleaning the skin
Carefully clean the skin of the forehead using a “Safetox Prepare” wipe or mild soap and water. This stage is essential to remove all the grease from the skin and to ensure a good adherence of the patch.
Stage 2: Positioning the patch
Use a mirror to help you position the patch correctly. The narrowest part points downwards with the bottom edge horizontally aligned with the bridge between the eyebrows.
Stage 3: Positioning your Safetox
Put the Safetox on, keeping the central part of the frame level with the forehead, and then lower it so that it hooks on to the button on the patch.
Stage 4: Start
Push the button to start the session. Press once for the novice user programme. Press twice in succession for the initiated user programme, and press three times for the experienced user programme.
Stage 5: Session and end
During the 5-minute session simply relax or continue what you were doing. Once the session has finished, lift the central part of the frame to detach it from the button and remove the Safetox.
SCIENTIFIC INFORMATION
Physiological mechanism: "electro-inhibition"
Electronic impulses are sent to the muscles to reduce wrinkles.
Safetox® uses electronic impulses which are sent to the target muscles using an adhesive patch.
These impulses inhibit the muscles in the central and upper part of the face (pyramidal, eyebrow and frontal).
The very specific impulses are set up in such a way as to temporarily suppress the excitability of the target muscles.
This technique is called electro-inhibition.
After several minutes, the high frequency of Safetox's impulses produce an ionic change in the muscle fibres (accumulation of extracellular K+ potassium), which eliminates any relaxation potential (or membrane potential), rendering the muscle fibres inexcitable.
This state of inexcitability leads to a state of deep relaxation and eliminates tone in the muscle fibres targeted.
Safetox® sessions modify the anteroposterior muscular balance of the head. With the anterior muscles relaxed, it is the posterior muscles (posterior auricular and occipital muscles) that become dominant. These pull on the ears and the skin of the forehead, opening up the face, eradicating tension lines and reducing deep wrinkles.
