About the Moisturising Facial Gel

This unique plant-based facial moisturiser by proto-col is a fantastically light coral & collagen formula, made from the highest quality natural ingredients, and is a new concept in anti-ageing skin care.

It is a moist, cool, and gently fragranced product which is readily absorbed into the skin. Rich in vitamins and minerals, this excellent natural skin food is a must have for anyone wanting to look after their skin.

This luxury formula is perfect as a daily facial moisturiser or make-up base for even the most sensitive skin types.

The fragrance of kiwi and guava dissolves on contact with the skin (a good test for a natural fruit extract) and so will not conflict with perfumes or deodorants.

Key ingredients and their properties:

• Plant Collagen – nourishing and anti-wrinkle properties.
• Aloe Vera – soothing and healing, especially on burns and is also of benefit to dry, chapped skin or dermatitis sufferers.
• Fresh Royal Jelly – one of the world’s most potent natural antibiotics and contains some 20 odd amino acids essential for the protein content in the skin.
• Coral Seaweed – helps to give natural protection to UV rays as well as being decongesting and detoxifying. It contains calcium and magnesium to oxygenate and create healthy skin.

Can the Moisturising Facial Gel be used as a make-up base?
Yes, the moisturiser is non-comedogenic (won’t clog pores) and is an ideal skin preparation prior to make-up application.

I suffer from outbreaks of spots. Is this product suitable for me?
Yes. Collagen has been reported to improve skin condition and many people notice a marked improvement when using collagen-based products. A waterbased product, such as this, with natural ingredients will nourish skin and refine pores.

Does the Moisturising Facial Gel contain a sunscreen?
The moisturiser contains a natural sunscreen in the form of mineral rich coral seaweed – a skin softener from the seas off Japan and New Zealand. Completely non-toxic, the seaweed extract has been found to have infra-red filter qualities, giving a certain amount of natural protection against the sun’s harmful rays without using chemicals. However it is not a sun block or tanning cream and should not be used as such.

How long will a pot of the Moisturising Facial Gel last?
The 50ml pot will last over a month, depending on frequency of applications. A very small amount of this gel goes a long way!
