The Circulation Booster Mobile stimulates body muscles through nerve points. It may help to improve blood circulation, relieve stress, fatigue, aches & pain, provide immediate help with arthritic pains and aid fast recovery from muscular injury. It may help to prevent DVT/PE through counteracting venous stasis for subjects who are immobile. It may maintain and increase the range of motion, prevent and retard disuse atrophy, relax muscle spasms and re-educate muscles. A regulator has listed the device for “immediate post-surgical stimulation of calf muscles to prevent venous thrombosis”.

The significant innovative of this device is that it can deliver therapy whatever it is required: sitting in a wheel chair, recovering in a hospital bed, at your place of work or even whilst a passenger in an aeroplane, coach or car.

Using the foot, glove or (soon to be released) stocking applicators, every part of the body can be stimulated. Two sets of applicators can be used simultaneously.

The Circulation Booster Mobile™ is an Electro Muscle Stimulation (EMS) device. The control unit transmits mild electrical impulses via conductive silver thread woven into a range of applicators.

This travels through the skin and stimulates the underlying nerve endings which in turn contract and relax the muscles.

For example, when applied to the feet, the therapy is a much more efficient application of EMS as the foot (sock) applicator carries the impulses to the tops of toes resulting in an increase in arterial blood flow. At the same time, the plantar muscle in the foot’s instep is stimulated and this results in the contraction of calf muscles.

As the calf muscles contract, they squeeze the deep veins and force venous blood towards the heart. One way valves in the deep veins stop the blood from flowing back into the calf.

Ultrasound testing has shown significant improvements in blood flow through the deep veins behind the knee. This increase in blood flow helps to reduce swelling, ease pain and improve the bodies natural ability to repair itself.

The total human blood supply is circulated about once every minute. Studies show significant improvements to the distribution of red blood cells. This is demonstrated by Darkfield Microscopy. Better red blood cell separation leads to improved oxygenation of the cells.

Hand (glove) applicators can be used on their own or simultaneously with foot (sock) applicators to provide upper body or whole of body therapy. Amputees can use a stocking with a glove or sock to apply a therapy.
