Convenient, safe and highly effective, Thermotex Infrared Therapy Systems have been shown in studies to increase temperatures within soft tissues at twice the depth of conventional heating systems and importantly, to sustain the increased temperature for longer periods.

By a process called homeostasis our bodies respond to increased heat by causing blood vessels to dilate (vasodilation) thus increasing blood flow through the heated area. For efficient healing and pain relief a prolonged increased blood flow is important as it brings oxygenated blood and nutrients to the injured site for tissue repair whilst facilitating the removal of inflammatory waste products. The deeper heat penetration of Thermotex also serves to bring larger blood vessels into play and thus induce greater blood flow at the damaged or painful site.
