The Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment (WEEE) Directive is now UK law, Salveo Ltd complies with all current legislation.
The amount of WEEE we throw away is increasing by around 5% each year, making it the fastest growing waste stream in the UK.
Recycling reduces the environmental and health risks associated with sending electrical goods to landfill.
Under the WEEE Regulations, all new electrical goods should now be marked with the crossed-out wheeled bin symbol shown to show that they were produced after 13th August 2005, and should be disposed of separately from normal household waste so that they can be recycled.
Recycling your old electricals with us
If you’re buying a new electrical item, we will recycle your old one [and any other small electricals you have] for free provided you return the item(s) to us at your expense. The item must be similar, or serve the same function, as the one you purchased from us (i.e. if you buy a Blu Ray player from us, you can send back a DVD player to recycle). Items that need to be recycled will have a symbol of a crossed-out, wheeled bin.
If you would like us to recycle your electrical goods, please post them to us within 28 days of your purchase to:
